Helen is a Project Manager for the Australasian Diabetes Data Network (ADDN). The ADDN project has established a central database pooling de-identified longitudinal diabetes data from a growing number of paediatric and adult centres across Australasia, enabling research into long-term health outcomes for children and adolescents who develop early-onset diabetes. Helen also works as a research and quality improvement coordinator within the clinical team at the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at PMH.

- Clinical care and associated outcomes in children with T1D
- Models of care for children newly diagnosed with T1D.
Helen has worked previously as an IT business analyst both in Western Australia and the UK.

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices have demonstrated efficacy in adults and more recently in youths and older adults with type 1 diabetes.
